In this week's edition of Werner's Weekly, your compass to the music that matters: @thevaccines(@carteblanchemus Wildcard), @TLHsound, @Art_Brut_, @bobmould, @calogerofficiel and @Grimezsz feat. @HANAtruly. Read more and listen via https://t.co/rDuFsioMW8

This week's highest entry marks the first time a Polish artist manages to penetrate the @ebbacharts. @perfectsonmusic’s (pictured) debut single It’s For Life comes in at #50. Check the full Top 100 (including 13 newcomers amongst 31(!) (re)entries) here: https://t.co/tmvQNFhDC0

15 years after forming the band, @Art_Brut_ just released their fifth album. @EddieArgos’ trademark speak-sing delivery is still omnipresent, but we get horns as an added bonus. For instance on my favourite album track She Kissed Me And It Felt Like A Hit. https://t.co/n26kkpudS8

With 300.000 copies of his most recent album Liberté Chérie sold in France alone, bass player/singer @calogerofficiel decided to release former promotional single On Ne Sait Par Coeur as his new commercial single at last. Excellent choice! https://t.co/rZgL6FRrrT

The dark, driving track We Appreciate Power is Canadian singer, songwriter and producer @Grimezsz ’s most aggressive single to date. Sonically, it sits somewhere between power pop and straightforward industrial. Great song though! https://t.co/GWVmzTRzug

For this second instalment of the Netflix TV series ‘Queer Eye’, Australia-born and Los Angeles-based pop star Betty Who revamped the original theme song. Her version clocks in at 1’44. It doesn’t happen often I wished a song lasted double its time. bit.ly/CBMbettywho

One of the most important success stories in this week's European Border Breakers Charts comes from Albin Lee Meldau (pictured). Not only is his song Try one of the 8 first-timers, he also sees 2 of his tracks re-enter the chart.

All four BLOW members have strong musical backgrounds, mostly rooted in rock music. Blow however, combines electronic and pop music. The band Jungle is a good reference.
Power is Blow’s new single, and it’s a very fine one! bit.ly/CBMblow

Heaven On Earth is the follow-up to whenyoung's single Pretty Pure. Another infectious rock banger full of melody and great hooks. bit.ly/CBMwhenyoung2
