Your favourites (June 2018)

In Western Europe, the month of June was sunnier and dryer than ever before. But the Carte Blanche Music stats reveal that didn’t hurt your hunger for new music.
The Top 10 most read blogs contains artists that range from extremely young and upcoming (10-year-old eMMa) to older and well-known (Elvis Costello). Eight of the ten tracks are by emerging artists though.

Dutchman Yorick van Norden tops this chart, and elsewhere, we find acts from Spain, the United States, Norway, Australia, Great Britain and even Poland.
English is the most common language of course, but I’m thrilled the list also features songs with lyrics in Swedish and Polish. Musically, there is a great variety as well.

These were your ten favourites in June:

  1. Yorick van Norden – More Than Words
  2. Maicø – Hey Hey
  3. Lead Pony – Soul Sucker
  4. Your.Regular.Boy. – Get Down Make Love
  5. Buika – Deadbeat
  6. eMMa – Fått Deg På Hjernen
  7. Kira Puru – Molotov
  8. whenyoung – Heaven On Earth
  9. Dawid Podsiadło – Małomiasteczkowy
  10. Elvis Costello (feat. The Roots) – Someone Else’s Heart

All of the above, and many more, can be found in my 2018 container playlist Carte Blanche Music, that is constantly updated. It includes the (almost 600) best new tracks of the year so far, providing you with nearly 35 hours of sheer joy. If you agree, you’re very welcome to subscribe and/or share. Enjoy and spread the music!
